Meet the CEO/Editor-in-Chief: Vishnue M.

Vishnue was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She graduated from the University of Memphis with a bachelor’s degree in public relations, and later received a master’s degree in English education from Union University in Jackson, TN.

Pen Name: China

A self-proclaimed “penhandler,” China has used her writing skills to create captivating lyrics for underground mix
tapes, design brochures to promote musical groups, construct executive level bios for major companies and published authors, compose articles for company newsletters and digital magazines as well as script dialogue for small business commercials. Simply put, she has always had a way with words.

As a former high school English teacher, China taught for many years before she realized she had a knack for pulling stories out of her students and colleagues and bringing them to life. With this talent in mind, she decided to take her writing and editing skills to another level, and Penhandler’s Ink Self-Publishing Consulting Firm (P.I.S.P.C.F.) was born. Through P.I.S.P.C.F., she motivates and shares her knowledge of content editing, character development, and plot execution, with burgeoning writers.

Under the Penhandler’s Ink umbrella, she has co-written three Best-Selling Urban Fiction Romance novels (Tangled in a Lover’s Web 1, 2, and 3... co-authored with B’Shone), two Urban Erotica stories (Room 69: Freaky Tales and Sex in the Dark... co-authored with B'Shone and a host of other amazing writers), and three solo Paranormal/Mystery and Women's Coming of Age novels (Piano Keys: It Came Upon a Midnight Clear, Mammie Dearest 1... Released in eBook format ONLY on Amazon.com), and Lacy: Caviar to Collard Greens).

In addition to claiming the #1 spot nationally and internationally, several times on the Amazon top 100 eBook list, China never hesitates to use her company’s resources to help in her community. In the fall of 2020, she enlisted the help of five other independent authors to participate in a collaborative writing project; SISTA WORLD: Twisted Tales. The proceeds from this book were donated to a charity that worked to bring awareness and eradicate the existence of inequality in justice between men of color and women of color, in regard to police brutality.
Shortly after the release of all five books in the Tangled in a Lover's Web Series, her social media exploded with positive feedback. The consensus was that the book series would make an amazing TV series. With that in mind, China and B'Shone started writing a screenplay based on the first book in the series (Tangled in a Lover's Web) and planned to use it as a pilot movie to gain attention from major studios, in hopes that they would produce a TV series with the other 4 books. The movie pilot is currently in post-production.
Not one to slow down, China put her screenwriting skills to the test again, and wrote and executive-produced the short film, The Narc I Knew. The film's purpose is to show the world that physical abuse is not the only type of abuse that can wreak havoc in our lives. In the film, the basic steps of a Romantic Narcissistic Relationship are revealed, and verbal, mental, emotional, and spiritual abuse are highlighted throughout the story. The Narc I Knew is set to be released on various streaming apps in the spring of 2025.

When China is not writing books or screenplays, she is spending time with her daughter, granddaughter, and grandson in Memphis, TN.
